lucky Fishermen lives in Peru got a “big” surprise over the weekend when they caught a very massive manta ray while they are fishing in waters just off the country’s north-west coast. The giant ray which measured a staggering about 26ft, is said to have swum into the fishermen’s net near Caleta La Cruz on Saturday.

I find it very sad to think this made front line news. These majestic creatures are being protected in the Hawaiian islands yet this picture is being broad cast as a trophy. It saddens my heart to think this harmless creature will no longer effortlessly soar through the depths.
