Although most people think that pennies are mere change and nothing beyond, Otha Anders believed that every single penny he earned or found on the ground was a reminder to be thankful for every little thing in life.
For that reason, He had been saving up pennies since the late 60’s or early 70’s and would even break a dollar just to not give up one of his pennies. Slowly but surely, his penny collection began to pile up and today, 45 years later, he has 15 five-gallon water jugs filled with pennies; over half a million pennies.
